Hi, I’m Mark, manager and Personal trainer at HQ GYM.

I am a highly qualified Personal trainer with a passion for all things health and fitness my specific passions are bodybuilding and transformations.

I have a vast amount of experience when it comes to body transformation both male and female I have coached hundreds of people to their goal physique over the years with goals such as losing body fat, gaining lean muscle tissue, body recomposition, and just living a healthier lifestyle overall.

Sharon

Personal Trainer
Hi, I’m Sharon, and aside from my love of wellbeing and fitness, I am a Mom to two busy teenagers.

I discovered exercise 10 years ago when I decided it was time to stop feeling tired, fat, and frumpy.

I fell in love with how great I felt after a workout. Over the years I was blessed to train with some of the best coaches and seeing how they worked and how they helped people well inspired me to want to do the same.

I studied Group Fitness Instruction with ACE Fitness & since then have been teaching classes here at HQ and love every minute of it. I’m all about progression so am currently halfway through a Personal Trainer course with Image Fitness Training.

To me exercise is about empowerment, pushing yourself just a little outside your comfort zone trains the mind as well as the body which boosts your confidence and your general feeling of wellbeing.

In a busy world where demands are made on your time be it by family, work, friends… making time for yourself is not selfish, it’s a priority. You feel stronger, fitter, more energised to face life’s daily challenges.

Group fitness is my passion, working out with like-minded people but more so coming together as a tribe to push, support, and encourage each other.

I’ve often gone into a class feeling like a tired, stressed-out mom but I come out feeling like a warrior. Warrior may sound scary but to me, it represents a strong and confident figure.

Personal Trainer
My name is Andrew Doherty and have been working in the fitness industry for 4 years.

I am currently studying applied strength & conditioning in LIT and have experience working with both athletes and personal training clients.

I have a background in Olympic weightlifting, strength training, and amateur rugby.

I specialise in:

Carmel

Personal Trainer
Carmel holds an ITEC cert in level 2 +3 in gym instructing/personal training, Level 6 in sports nutrition, and a certified cert in disability-inclusive fitness training with Cara Sport Ireland.

I spent two weeks work placement in Scotland experiencing the gym environment over there gaining more experience.
The area I specialise in is injury recovery and Physical/nonphysical disabilities.

I was inspired to work in this area after coming from a Spinal injury and spending months going through the rehab/recovery process myself this is what gave me the passion to help people coming from similar situations.

My aim is to build people’s confidence and help them reach their goals either with nutrition or training and show them no matter what injury or disability you have you can achieve anything.
